Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated, bilingual Sales Representative at our Metcalfe (Otawa) branch to grow and support our customer base across the Maritimes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador). Our branch is located at 6860 Bank Street, Metcalfe (Ottawa) K0A 2P0.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships, traveling extensively, and representing a respected manufacturer in the construction and landscape products industry.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, distributors, and customers throughout the Maritimes; Promote and sell Oldcastle / Permacon products to existing and prospective clients; Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in the region; Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations; Attend weekend home shows and industry events as a company representative; Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer updates using computer-based tools and CRM systems; Travel throughout the Maritimes, including overnight stays away from home as required; Participate in training sessions in Quebec and Ontario.
Qualifications And Job Requirements
Bilingual in both English and French (required); Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required); Minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or a related industry; Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting tools; Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently; Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes, including overnight travel and weekend home shows;
Job Compensation/Benefits
