Role Description This is a one year, full-time maternaty leave replacement. If sales targets are exceeded, a full time position could be available.
This Sales Executive role is based in Kelowna/Vernon, BC, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Sales Executive will build and manage relationships with showroom partners, dealers, and trade professionals to drive sales of kitchen & bath plumbing products. Daily responsibilities include prospecting new accounts, conducting product presentations and training, and following up on leads from manufacturer partners. The role involves preparing quotes, managing a sales pipeline, and negotiating pricing within established guidelines. The Sales Executive will also collaborate with internal and partner marketing teams to support promotions, attend industry events and product launches as needed, and provide feedback from the field to help refine sales strategies.
Qualifications Proven sales skills, including prospecting, account management, and closing in a B2B or building products environment. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to present products and value propositions clearly to diverse stakeholders. Basic business and analytical skills, including managing a sales pipeline, using CRM tools, and understanding margins and pricing. Organizational and time-management skills to plan territory visits, prioritize accounts, and follow up consistently. Comfort with technology, including email, video meetings, presentation software, and common office productivity tools. Knowledge of the kitchen, bath, plumbing, or fireplace industry is an asset but not required; willingness to learn technical product details is essential. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with reliable transportation for local travel within the territory. Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience
