About the role

Pharvaris is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel, oral bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists to potentially address all types of bradykinin-mediated angioedema. By targeting this clinically proven therapeutic target with novel, oral small molecules, the Pharvaris team is advancing new alternatives to injected therapies for the prevention and treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks, and other bradykinin B2-receptor-mediated indications. HAE is a rare and potentially life-threatening genetic disease and people living with HAE can suffer sudden and prolonged attacks of swelling in multiple areas of the body, including the airway, which can be life-threatening.

We are expanding our U.S. Commercial team and are looking for an Area Business Manager – Denver, to join our team and report to our West Zone Director.

About the Role

The Are Business Manager will play a key role in driving continued growth and market expansion for an innovative oral therapy within hereditary angioedema (HAE). This individual will be responsible for developing territory strategy, building meaningful relationships with HCPs and key stakeholders, and advancing disease and brand awareness across the region.

This is a highly visible field-based role requiring strong clinical selling capability, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for improving outcomes for patients living with rare disease. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and brings both launch experience and a strong ownership mindset.

Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory business plan focused on physician engagement, market development, and account growth Drive demand through clinical selling, customer education, and strategic engagement with HAE healthcare providers Build and maintain trusted relationships with key customers, thought leaders, and internal business partners Identify opportunities within the territory and adapt strategy based on market dynamics and customer insights Lead impactful field activities including speaker programs, educational initiatives, conference support, peer-to-peer engagement, and customer in-services Partner cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, Patient Services, and Commercial leadership to support patient access and continuity of care Utilize strong pre-call planning, territory analytics, and post-call assessment to continuously improve execution Consistently deliver against performance objectives while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture with a strong focus on execution and accountability Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably within rare disease, specialty, immunology, or allergy markets Product launch experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success managing complex territories and driving sustained business growth Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers and navigating complex patient access environments Strong understanding of compliant pharmaceutical selling practices and industry regulations Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams in a dynamic commercial environment Excellent communication, organizational, and territory management skills Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned geography, including occasional overnight and weekend travel Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences or business-related focus preferred We Are Looking for Someone That Has: A strategic and proactive approach to territory ownership and business planning Strong clinical and consultative selling capability High accountability with a bias toward action and results The ability to influence and build credibility with both internal and external stakeholders Experience operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving commercial organization Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate insights into action A collaborative mindset paired with competitive drive and executional intensity Emotional intelligence, professionalism, and strong interpersonal presence A patient-focused mentality with a passion for rare disease and improving patient outcomes The confidence to operate independently while remaining highly connected to the broader team and organizational priorities

Pharvaris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $160,000-$185,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including but not limited to relevant sales experience, demonstrated performance, skills, geographic market, and internal equity. Exceptional candidates may be considered outside of the intended hiring range. We view compensation holistically. In addition to a competitive base salary, employees are eligible for incentive compensation and equity participation, reinforcing our ownership mindset and aligning individual contributions with company success.
