About the Opportunity We are a leading wireless retail organization looking for an experienced and driven Area Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as the central link between our organization and a network of independent retail partner locations — helping them grow, perform, and succeed. What You'll Be Doing Building Partner Capability Welcome and onboard new retail partner locations, equipping their teams with the product knowledge, sales skills, and systems training needed to hit the ground running Create and deliver engaging training content, presentations, and reference materials tailored to frontline retail staff Ensure partner teams stay up to date on the latest products, services, promotions, and tools through ongoing coaching and development sessions Driving Sales Results Identify performance gaps across your assigned partner portfolio and implement targeted coaching plans to close them Track and analyze partner sales metrics, translating data into clear, practical recommendations Conduct regular in-person visits to observe frontline activity, provide real-time feedback, and celebrate wins Maintaining Standards & Accountability Guide partners in following established sales processes, promotional guidelines, and customer experience standards Proactively spot areas of non-compliance, support improvement, and escalate where necessary in a constructive and solutions-focused manner Managing Partner Relationships Serve as the dedicated day-to-day contact for your assigned partner locations — the person they trust and turn to Cultivate strong working relationships with dealer owners and store-level staff at all levels Lead structured monthly and quarterly business reviews, aligning on performance results, priorities, and forward-looking action plans Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and HR to resolve issues and continuously improve partner programs Staying Sharp on the Market Keep a close pulse on industry developments, product updates, and the competitive landscape to provide timely and relevant guidance Share field-level insights to help refine enablement programs, playbooks, and partner-facing tools What You Bring 8+ years of professional experience, with meaningful time spent in the Canadian wireless or telecom retail industry Demonstrated success in a role involving sales enablement, channel development, field training, or partner management Solid understanding of wireless products and services; familiarity with dealer systems is a strong plus Hands-on experience building and delivering training programs for retail or frontline sales teams Comfortable analyzing sales data and turning numbers into coaching conversations Confident holding partners accountable while keeping relationships positive and productive Outstanding communication and presentation skills — equally comfortable in an executive meeting and on a retail sales floor Highly self-directed, organized, and capable of juggling multiple partner relationships simultaneously Valid driver's license and open to regular regional travel What's In It For You A competitive base salary of up to $70,000- $75,000 CAD, plus a performance-based bonus tied to results A fast-paced, growth-focused environment with a well-established wireless retail operator A meaningful opportunity to shape and scale the partner enablement function from the ground up A collaborative, supportive team culture built around excellence and shared success
