About the Company:

Our client is a globally recognized European manufacturer of high-performance hydraulic equipment, known for its innovative product portfolio and strong reputation in the market. With an established North American presence and continued growth ambitions, the company is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Director of Sales to support the General Manager and lead sales performance across Canada and the U.S.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a hands-on, results-oriented sales executive with strong experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally within industrial capital equipment sales and experience selling into OEMs, related to defense, transportation, natural resources and other industry verticals.

This position will be based in Delta, BC and offers flexibility through a hybrid work model (e.g. 3 days in office, 2 days remote). Travel across Canada, the U.S., and internationally (approximately 15–20%) will be required for customer meetings, tradeshows, and corporate events.

Responsibilities:

Define and implement business strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Assist with P&L management and drive financial performance across Canadian and U.S. operations. Strengthen and expand relationships with OEMs, dealers, and defense contractors. Identify new market opportunities and close strategic deals to support growth. Work closely with cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and admin functions, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Continuously assess and improve internal processes, ensuring operational efficiency and outstanding customer service. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Proven account management experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. Strong sales acumen, preferably with a track record of business development in OEM or B2B channels. Understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Possess the foundation of experience, knowledge and aptitude required to progress to senior management responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to inspire teams across multiple functions and locations. Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite. Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is considered an asset.

Compensation:

$180-200k base salary 20% bonus Extended health benefits Paid time off Cellphone and laptop Travel expenses
