About the Role

The National Sales Executive is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing lighting retrofit, EV charging, and energy‑efficiency projects with mid‑market and enterprise organizations across the country. This role requires a strong hunter mentality, the ability to communicate value to facility leaders and executives, and comfort navigating provincial incentive programs, utility rebates, and Canadian energy standards. This is a remote/on road position based in the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA), with travel throughout Canada, potentially USA, for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Responsibilities Business Development Prospect and acquire new national and regional clients across commercial, industrial, retail, and multi‑site portfolios. Build and manage a qualified pipeline of energy‑efficiency, retrofit, and EV charging opportunities. Conduct outreach, schedule meetings, and deliver compelling presentations to decision‑makers.

Consultative Sales Lead discovery calls and site assessments to understand facility needs, energy usage, and operational challenges. Present proposals, ROI models, and incentive‑driven financial analyses tailored to Canadian markets. Educate clients on available Canadian utility rebates, provincial incentive programs (e.g., IESO, NRCan), and sustainability standards.

Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building long-term partnerships and repeat business. Collaborate with engineering, rebate, and project management teams to ensure accurate scoping and smooth execution. Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records, pipeline details, and revenue forecasts.

Market Engagement Attend Canadian trade shows, sustainability conferences, and energy‑industry events. Build strong relationships within the commercial, industrial, property management, and sustainability sectors. Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to leadership.

Qualifications 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in energy solutions, construction, building technologies, sustainability services, or related industries. Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle and close deals with mid‑market or enterprise clients. Strong communication and presentation skills with both technical and executive audiences. Highly organized, self‑driven, and comfortable working remotely. Must be based in the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA) with the ability to travel within Canada.

Required Skills Experience with lighting retrofits, EV charging solutions, or energy‑efficiency upgrades. Familiarity with Canadian facility operations, energy codes, rebates, and provincial incentive programs. Existing relationships in commercial real estate, industrial operations, multi‑site retail, or property management. CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
