Overview
The Vice President (VP) of Sales provides leadership and direction for John Deere Compact Construction Equipment, Ditch Witch Underground, Morbark Tree Care, and Brandt Utility Trailers the prescribed AOR. The VP of Sales is accountable for sales performance, market share growth and aligning sales objectives with Brandt’s business strategy.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Develop and promote corporate sales strategy and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, Industry sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting

Assist in the management and development of all sales employees with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company and customers

Achieving sales growth and profitability throughout the assigned Territory

Achieving the financial sales performance targets as set out in the Company Budget
-
Continuous ongoing communication and contact with the Sr. VP of Sales on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Achieving Market Share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company

Maintaining & growing the Company relationship with our Suppliers
-
Achieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets. Included but not limited to new and used Wholegoods inventory.

Provide assistance and guidance for forecasting the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals in the assigned Territory

Actively assist in the monthly ordering calls for all Products within the AOR

Provide continuous input on the development of standard machine specifications and encourage the selling FAB’s of the standards

Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.

Facilitating constant communication and sales strategy with direct reports

Recruitment, training, development, and management of direct reports

Provide input on advertising, promotion and marketing in connection with Brandt sales
-
Directly assist in improving sales opportunities with large, exceptionally large, difficult, and/or challenging customers

Assist with negotiation of sales contracts with customers

Establish and maintain good public relations with communities, civic, political and industry personnel

Achieve customer satisfaction goals

Attendance at Industry events, active participation, and promotion of all Divisions of Brandt during the event

Performance of such other duties as are normally and customarily carried out by Senior Management in connection with Brandt

Ongoing presence at all physical operating locations within the prescribed AOR of Brandt is critical. Minimum of 100 days to be spent traveling throughout the operating locations

Strong organization and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail and consistent customer focus are all required skills

Candidates must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available for international travel

A recent drivers abstract will be required
