Job Description
Summary: Borealis deems this position an essential and key role within its organization for its operations and expansion across North America. The Branch Manager would be responsible for Borealis’s interests in Central Alberta and would report to the Area Manager and/or the Executive Team.
Duties and Responsibilities: Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in Alberta Lead Business Development initiatives concerning residential, commercial and industrial markets in the operational area Manage day-to-day operations of Borealis in the specified area, including but not limited to: Service scheduling and work orders; Trucks, trailers and all equipment logistics; Fuel dispatch; Preventative maintenance on all assets; Parts and equipment inventory. Help Borealis build and lead a strong service team with skilled labour. Mentor and coach new employees and apprentices. Coordinate new tank installations and tank swap-outs. Lead weekly branch operations meetings with the Borealis team. Participate in community events funded by Borealis. Support the Borealis team in estimating and preparing proposals for new commercial and industrial customers. Position Requirements: Entrepreneurial experience and extensive leadership skills. Experience in Business Development or supporting Business Development activities. Knowledge of the propane and the LPG industry is preferred. Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement is an asset LPG bulk handling and transport training. TDG and WHMIS proficiency (required under Borealis). Google Workspace proficiency Exceptional communication and time management skills. Multitask and work well with teams. Communication and self-organization skills, and hands-on mentality. Attention to detail and a self-starter.
