This field-based sales role focuses on driving growth within the veterinary diagnostics industry by promoting advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment solutions. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities across Alberta while positioning a full suite of diagnostic technologies that help veterinary clinics improve patient care and operational efficiency. The role combines strategic territory management with hands-on product demonstrations and consultative selling. You will collaborate closely with internal sales teams and regional partners to build integrated diagnostic solutions for customers. Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex equipment value into clear business outcomes. Operating in a fast-paced, travel-intensive environment, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and territory growth through proactive business development, strategic partnerships, and effective client engagement across the assigned region. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the assigned Alberta territory. Prospect and develop a strong sales pipeline while accurately forecasting revenue and managing territory growth. Conduct product demonstrations, including on-site equipment showcases, to communicate value and technical capabilities. Collaborate with diagnostic sales managers and internal partners to develop integrated customer solutions. Maintain accurate CRM documentation (Salesforce) and ensure timely reporting of pipeline, forecasts, and expenses. Represent the organization at industry events, tradeshows, and client meetings in a professional manner. Build and maintain strong relationships with veterinary clinics, partners, and key stakeholders. Execute territory plans aligned with business strategy and sales objectives. Manage full sales cycle activities including negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with strong technical understanding and experience in diagnostic or healthcare-related equipment sales. 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging sales or related B2B capital equipment sales. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong understanding of veterinary or clinical diagnostic environments is an asset. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth. Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and closing complex deals. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to work independently in a field-based role with extensive travel (up to 85%). Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently across assigned territory.
