About the role

Company Overview Closer Conveyancing is a dynamic team born in London, Ontario, comprised of law and tech professionals dedicated to enhancing the property closing experience. Our mission is to streamline the property conveyancing process for lawyers and clerks, ensuring it is optimized for today’s needs and future innovations. We pride ourselves on our values of trust, integrity, and delivering a world-class product.

About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing & Events Specialist to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for planning and executing industry events, trade shows, webinars, sponsorship opportunities, and customer engagement initiatives that support brand awareness, lead generation, and business growth.

The successful candidate will play a key role in bringing events to life — managing logistics, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, preparing event materials, supporting Sales and Customer Success teams, and ensuring each event delivers a positive experience for attendees and measurable business impact.

This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, coordinating multiple moving pieces, and being actively involved from initial planning through execution and post-event reporting.

What You’ll Do: Industry Events & Trade Shows Research and identify relevant conferences, trade shows, sponsorship opportunities, and industry events. Evaluate event opportunities and present recommendations based on strategic fit and business goals. Coordinate registrations, booth requirements, marketing materials, shipping, and event logistics. Work with Sales and internal teams to coordinate attendance, travel requirements, and event needs. Act as a point of contact for event organizers and provide required marketing assets. Support on-site execution for select conferences and industry events. Track event outcomes, including leads generated, costs, ROI, and key learnings.

Closer Events & Customer Engagement Coordinate customer and company events, including venue sourcing, catering, registrations, and logistics. Create and manage event registration pages through platforms such as Eventbrite. Prepare promotional materials and communications in collaboration with the Marketing team. Coordinate attendee tracking, event materials, and internal team requirements. Support post-event follow-up and reporting.

Webinars & Virtual Events Manage webinars from planning through execution and follow-up. Coordinate webinar logistics, including speakers, Zoom setup, registration, website updates, and promotional timelines. Support CPD credit applications where applicable. Create webinar materials, including presentations and promotional assets. Coordinate practice sessions, moderate live webinars, and manage post-event follow-up. Track webinar attendance, engagement, and lead outcomes.

Brand Insiders & Community Engagement Support the planning and execution of monthly virtual Brand Insider events. Coordinate logistics, communications, and attendee engagement activities. Work with the Content Strategist and Marketing team to ensure a consistent experience for participants.

Event Logistics & Coordination Work with Event & Logistics Coordinator in coordinating event materials, including banners, booth supplies, promotional items, and branded assets. Work with internal teams to ensure all required materials are prepared, shipped, and available when needed. Maintain organized records of event assets, requirements, and logistics details. Coordinate with vendors, venues, event organizers, and service providers to ensure successful delivery of events. Support purchasing and vendor coordination related to events and marketing initiatives.

Reporting & Event Insights Maintain event budget tracking and reporting documentation. Track key event metrics, including registrations, attendance, engagement, leads generated, and overall impact. Gather feedback from Sales, Marketing, attendees, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide post-event summaries and recommendations to improve future event strategies.

What You’ll Bring: 3–5 years of event management experience with a proven track record of planning, coordinating, and executing successful events, conferences, and experiences both in-person or virtual. Located in Toronto, Ontario or near the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle. Ability and willingness to travel on average once per month to attend conferences, trade shows, client events, and company events, primarily within the GTA, with occasional travel outside the region as required. Availability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events. Experience coordinating conferences, trade shows, webinars, sponsorships, or corporate events. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, partners, and event organizers. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Eventbrite, Zoom webinars, or similar event platforms is an asset. Proficiency with Google Workspace and common business software applications. Experience working in a B2B, SaaS, technology, legal, or professional services environment is an asset. Experience tracking event performance and using data to improve future initiatives is an asset. A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field is considered an asset.

This is a newly created position within an existing team.

Salary Range: $68,000-$75,000 CAD plus bonus
