MatchBox Consulting Group is currently seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer for a permanent role with a client of ours located in Vancouver

Responsibilities

Engage with partners and prospects to deliver customized product demonstrations tailored to their unique needs. Leverage market and technical expertise to provide strategic consultation on partner product strategies. This includes designing optimal technology and go-to-market solutions for our partners. Analyze bank product specifications to design and deliver best-in-class technical solutions. Collaborate with sales, product, and service operations teams to develop optimal go-to-market strategies for products across the partner ecosystem. Lead internal strategic initiatives aimed at automating and improving processes to drive efficiency and revenue growth. Lead technical scoping and draft detailed specifications for Statements of Work (SOWs). Create and present strategic pitch decks to banks and new partners to introduce and highlight new product functionality. Act as a mentor and technical guide for junior members of the Solutions Team, fostering their professional growth and ensuring best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, professional services, product management, or a similar role, preferably in financial services or financial technology. Strong ability to design/architect solutions that maximizes benefit to the client while maintaining best practices and adhering to technical framework. Experienced in creating technical documentation, including process workflows and requirements documents. Strong presence and effective at communicating complex ideas in a simple way as well as advocating to executive level stakeholders Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical specifications, transforming complex details into accessible, user-friendly content. Comprehensive knowledge of connectivity standards such as authentication, encryption, secure transmission, and APIs. Familiarity with data standards such as XML and JSON. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. Proven relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Highly motivated, self-directed individual who can manage multiple initiatives and meet tight deadlines. Prior experience in financial services or financial technology is highly desirable.
