About Us
Mathnasium – The Glebe is an established mathematics learning centre located in Ottawa’s Glebe neighbourhood. We help children build confidence, strong problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of math.
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our online presence, drive student enrollment, and strengthen our brand within the local community.
About the Role
This role focuses on digital marketing while supporting the centre’s strategic growth within the mathematics education space. In addition to marketing responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to the overall centre experience by supporting students and helping maintain a positive and welcoming learning environment.
Familiarity with the Singapore Math approach is considered an asset, as it supports both content development and effective communication of our programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing (Primary)
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to drive student enrollment and brand awareness for Mathnasium – The Glebe Develop and execute content strategy that credibly communicates the centre’s specialised niche positioning across digital channels Manage social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and other relevant channels Plan, execute and monitor paid digital advertising campaigns Develop communication strategies and implement communication programs Conduct online marketing, e-commerce and website promotions Maintain and update website content to reflect current programs, promotions and achievements Develop and distribute email marketing campaigns for prospective and currently enrolled families Prepare written material such as reports, briefs, newsletters and website content Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other promotional material Develop a portfolio of marketing materials consistent with the Mathnasium brand Gather, research and prepare communications material Conduct analytical marketing studies and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns Develop advertising and promotional copy across digital and print channels Conduct market research and analyze competitor marketing strategies Prepare and deliver publicity and information programs and sessions for community outreach Answer written and oral inquiries from prospective clients and community partners Centre Support (Secondary)
Support student onboarding and orientation Communicate with parents regarding programs and enrollment Contribute to a positive and welcoming learning environment Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency between marketing and in-centre experience Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing or communications Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills Technical Skills
Meta Business Suite / Facebook Ads Manager Google Analytics Canva, Figma MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Email marketing platforms Work Environment
