About the role
Location: Welland campus Start Date: August 2026 End Date: April 2027 Hours: 10 - 15/ week Posting Open: July 13th, 2026 Posting Close: July 24th, 2026
Position Overview: You’ll be responsible for creating high-visual impact design elements for all materials relating to the promotional, marketing and advertising strategies set by the Marketing Communications Manager. Working with the Marketing Coordinator, the Graphic Designer will also be responsible for creating the graphics for campus-specific events, campaigns and activities submitted through the Marketing ticket system.
Reporting Relationship(s): You’ll work closely with the Marketing Coordinator, but ultimately report to the Marketing Communications Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
1.1 You’ll work alongside the Marketing Team from concept to final design. The designs you’ll be creating for print, digital, and social media, will be aligned with the NCSAC branding standards. 1.2 You’ll design content for various departments within NCSAC. Including, but not limited to, Events/Services/Food Service/Advocacy, etc. 1.3 You’ll maintain consistent communication with the Marketing Team to ensure that design concepts and information accurately reflect the intention and direction by providing proofs throughout the design process. 1.4 You’ll maintain an electronic archive of images, photos and previous work 1.5 You’ll be working approximately 10 – 15 hours per week. 1.6 You’ll provide recommendations, when necessary, to NCSAC on new technologies and software that would enhance design needs. 1.7 Experience with Monday.com & Microsoft Teams is considered an asset. 1.8 Current enrollment in a Niagara College Graphic Design program is considered an asset.

2.1 Understand and abide by the NCSAC constitution, bylaws, and policies. 2.2 Perform other duties as required to support and foster the growth of NCSAC. 2.3 Maintain and act in accordance with the Corporation's privacy policy.
