About the role

<p>As a member of the Canadian sales team, the incumbent supports our clients strategic plan and contributes to the achievement of the Canadian business plan by solidifying long-term Vision customer relationships, focusing on understanding and meeting customer needs.</p><p>Reporting to the VP of Global Sales, you will be driven to meet and exceed sales and profit targets, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure executional excellence.<br><br><span>This is a home based sales role where you'll be expected to be on the road 4 days out of 5, managing accounts across the 4 Atlantic Provinces. You'll be ideally based in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia and be comfortable with some overnight stays within territory.</span><br><br>Role:</p><ul><li>Achieve territory sales targets for all products, systems and services</li><li>Understand both current and potential business and develop territory plans that align with the Canadian business plan to approach the market</li><li>Develop and update customer engagement plans, territory business plans and quarterly reports</li><li>Update and maintain customer profiles in sales management database</li><li>Put forth superior product management knowledge and service-related to our clients products and systems</li><li>Provide ongoing customer support throughout the sales cycle</li><li>Review, report and act on competitive activity and changing market conditions</li><li>Proactively present new ideas and solutions to customers to enhance the business</li><li>Remain current on company products, competition, and industry trends</li><li>Incorporate the techniques introduced through sales trainings to continuously enhance skills and performance</li><li>Attend all training sessions, sales meetings, as well as scheduled Atlantic-based, and international trade shows, as required</li><li>Conduct in-service trainings, deliver education, and promote products to Atlantic-based customers</li></ul>You: <br><ul><li>Driven, with a strong work ethic</li><li>Have a growth mindset</li><li>Determined to succeed and deliver results</li><li>A persuasive negotiator - influences decisions, closes the sale and follows through to completion</li><li>Strategic thinker with an ability to analyze territory dynamics</li><li>Strong communication skills: Ability to design and deliver effective presentations to individuals and small groups</li><li>Networking skills</li><li>Demonstrates organizational and planning skills</li><li>Ability to work autonomously and within a team-dynamic</li></ul>
