Job Description: Inside Sales / Project Manager (Mechanical HVAC) Location: Calgary, Alberta Company: E.H. Price Solutions Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in HVAC systems to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site coordination ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards. This role offers the right candidate the opportunity to manage complex HVAC projects while utilizing construction management software and technical skills. Key Responsibilities: Project Management Duties: Lead and coordinate all phases of HVAC construction projects including planning, execution, and closing. Develop and manage project schedules using internal CRM and other construction management tools to ensure timely delivery. Prepare accurate construction estimates utilizing proprietary software and other estimating tools. Read and interpret digital blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure proper design and implementation of HVAC systems. Oversee project budgets, contracts, and procurement processes to maintain tight financial control. Responsible to for timely and accurate release of mechanical equipment for manufacture. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution. Monitor project progress ensuring adherence to design/manufacturer standards, quality assurance, and contractual obligations. Conduct product inspections, progress meetings, and work with field technicians to schedule startup of equipment. Manage project documentation using leading edge CRM tools and construction software such as Bluebeam for efficient communication and record keeping. Ensure compliance with all codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Inside Sales Duties: Support the outside sales representatives by collaborating with them on product selections for engineering firms, selections and quotes for mechanical contractors. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing exceptional service and demonstrating product knowledge. Process quotes and orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain and update customer records in office CRM system. Collaborate with sales team to identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads. Assist in the development of sales strategies to achieve company objectives. Other duties as assigned. Product Selection: Utilize various manufacturer software tools to assist customers and team members in the proper selection of appropriate HVAC equipment based on their needs. Provide technical support and guidance on product specifications, applications, and compatibility. Stay updated on industry trends and product advancements so that you can offer informed recommendations on product and application. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in business, engineering, or relevant trade certificate. Proven experience in HVAC Proficiency in using all common software applications Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as necessary. Solid understanding of construction site operation, freight logistics, and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, cost estimation, contract administration, and digital blue print reading. Effective communications skills, both written and oral.
