The Opportunity Our client is seeking a hands-on, strategic Sales Leader to drive growth and expand market share across Canada. This individual will lead a small sales team while also managing their own portfolio of business.
The role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership skills with a proactive sales approach and experience growing B2B industrial markets.
This position reports directly to the President of the Americas initially and will transition to reporting to the Sales Director in 2027.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Growth Lead, coach, and develop a sales team of 2–3 people Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews Manage sales pipeline activity and forecasting Maintain and grow an individual book of business Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and revenue across Canada Identify and close new business opportunities within manufacturing, chemicals, oil & gas, automotive, and related industries
Customer & Market Development Strengthen and expand key customer relationships Drive new customer acquisition initiatives Improve customer response times and service quality Collaborate closely with marketing and company leadership on growth initiatives
Operations & Strategy Establish consistent sales processes, reporting, and forecasting standards Support budgeting, planning, and performance analysis Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations and company policies Provide market feedback to support product development and business strategy

Candidate Profile Experience 7–10+ years of B2B sales leadership experience within industrial or manufacturing environments Proven success leading and developing sales teams Experience working within international or matrixed organizations Background in industries such as manufacturing, chemicals, automotive, oil & gas, logistics, or related sectors preferred Must be currently employed
Education Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred Engineering, industrial, business, or related disciplines preferred
Skills & Attributes Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities Strategic thinker with a hands-on management style Results-driven with strong accountability Comfortable working cross-functionally and across international teams Willingness to travel extensively throughout Canada French language skills are a strong plus
