Role Description We are hiring a Digital Asset Innovation Specialist to support research, innovation strategy, market analysis, and solution-focused work across digital assets, blockchain ecosystems, and Web3 markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on digital asset innovation, blockchain technology, crypto markets, Web3 strategy, and emerging financial technology.
The Digital Asset Innovation Specialist will research digital asset trends, monitor blockchain ecosystem developments, support innovation-focused initiatives, and prepare materials across cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, decentralized finance, stablecoins, Web3 infrastructure, and blockchain-enabled business models. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in digital assets, blockchain innovation, cryptocurrency, Web3, fintech, and emerging technology strategy.
Responsibilities • Research digital asset markets, blockchain innovation trends, cryptocurrency ecosystems, tokenized assets, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and Web3 infrastructure • Monitor developments across blockchain networks, digital asset products, decentralized applications, crypto platforms, and emerging financial technologies • Support innovation strategy, market research, product opportunity analysis, ecosystem mapping, and digital asset use case development • Prepare innovation briefs, market intelligence reports, digital asset summaries, blockchain research notes, and Web3 strategy materials • Track developments across crypto exchanges, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, token ecosystems, fintech platforms, venture activity, and institutional adoption • Support analysis of digital asset adoption, product opportunities, market positioning, ecosystem growth, tokenized finance, and emerging Web3 use cases • Collaborate with team members on blockchain research, digital asset strategy, innovation projects, market expansion, and Web3-focused initiatives • Maintain organized research files, market trackers, ecosystem watchlists, opportunity maps, digital asset notes, and Web3 intelligence resources
Qualifications • Strong interest in digital assets, blockchain innovation, cryptocurrency, Web3, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and financial technology • Familiarity with crypto markets, blockchain networks, digital asset research, Web3 platforms, fintech, decentralized applications, or innovation strategy • Understanding of token ecosystems, digital asset adoption, market cycles, liquidity, user growth, product positioning, and emerging technology trends • Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, TradingView, market data platforms, or Web3 research tools is a plus • Strong research, analytical, strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to explain digital asset trends, blockchain opportunities, innovation themes, and Web3 market insights clearly • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research and strategy priorities • Previous experience in blockchain research, digital asset analysis, fintech, innovation strategy, market research, or Web3 projects is helpful
