Business Development Manager
Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Eastern Time Zone)
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION

Grow Aeroqual’s air monitoring solutions business through key environmental consultants use in industrial perimeter monitoring of remediation and construction sites.
-
Accelerate North American total solutions revenue, gross margin and software recurring revenue with key accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development:
- Build relationships with all key account stakeholders, including executive, operations, technical, IT, and influencers for mass roll out of Aeroqual solutions.
- Fill and maintain the sales pipeline for key accounts in Canada.
- Identify proof of concept locations and internal customer champions.
- Scope proof of concept projects and agree success metrics and future potential with the client.
- Prepare statements of work, quotes and sales orders.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Aeroqual and our channel partner’s ideal customer profile, specific pain points and how they are addressed by the Aeroqual product line.
- Conduct introductory Aeroqual Presentation and software demonstrations.
- Visit key account project sites to understand how the solutions are being applied and build on-site rapport.
- Represent Aeroqual at NAM trade shows and events.
Customer Success & Product Management:
- Unwavering commitment to meeting the success criteria within agreed timeframe for every customer proof of concept.
- Keen attention to detail in planning enterprise-wide roll outs and mitigating quickly and professionally any hurdles or challenges.
- Create Aeroqual product evangelists by wowing customers with the fit and performance of hardware and software.
- Capture, evaluate and share customer suggestions for improvements to the product-led solutions and participate in roadmap prioritization.
Marketing:
- LinkedIn and social media posting and sharing of others posts to boost the Aeroqual brand, promote thought leadership, generate sales leads and create excitement around the products.
- Monitor key social and industry channels to understand trends and impactful news.
- Influence industry and government organizations through participation and membership.
- Create case studies and solicit testimonials.
Educate and Train Channel Partners:
- Build positive working relationships with select channel partners to maximize product sales.
- Select, onboard, and continuously evaluate channel partners to ensure Aeroqual is represented by the best partners for each of our strategic sectors by territory.
- Develop and review sales proposals with partners and how to price, position, deliver solutions.
- Schedule and support monthly and quarterly web/in-person meetings.
Quality Improvement, Health, Safety and Wellbeing:
- Utilize the Quality Management System to align performance with policy, procedures and guidelines.
- Actively identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Minimize safety risks by identifying, reporting and minimizing potential work hazards.
- All health and safety concerns raised are proactively managed within appropriate timeframes.
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing is actively promoted across the North American based team.
