Role Description The Remote Benefits Manager is a full-time role responsible for guiding clients through their insurance and benefits options, with a focus on meeting the needs of working families. On a day-to-day basis, this role conducts virtual consultations, explains life, accident, and supplemental health products, and helps clients select appropriate coverage based on their goals and budgets. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate client records, coordinating with internal teams to support underwriting and claims processes, and staying current on product updates and industry regulations. This remote position requires consistent use of online tools and platforms to manage appointments, complete applications, and deliver a high level of service in a fully virtual environment.
Qualifications Client service and relationship-building skills, including the ability to explain complex benefits in clear, accessible language. Sales, consultative selling, and needs-based assessment abilities to match clients with suitable insurance solutions. Organizational, time management, and follow-up skills to manage a high volume of remote appointments and client interactions. Comfort with digital tools, virtual meeting platforms, and online systems for remote work. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a distributed team. Previous experience in insurance, benefits administration, or financial services is preferred but not required.
