TMS Lighting is an established Canadian lighting manufacturer with a century-long track record and a growing North American footprint. We sell through independent rep agencies, and we’re investing in the field presence that turns relationships into revenue. The role A field sales role for someone who lights up a room. You’ll own a US sales territory, manage the independent rep agencies within it, and be the face of TMS in the field — running in-person presentations, lunch-and-learns, and demos, fielding product questions, preparing quotes, and building the relationships that get our products specified and reordered. We win with reps who show up, present brilliantly, and are remembered long after the meeting ends. What you’ll do • Manage and motivate the rep agencies in your territory; drive their activity and hold them to clear targets • Deliver standout in-person presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product demos • Build relationships with agencies, distributors, and key accounts — in meetings, at trade shows, and over dinner • Prepare quotes, answer product questions, and move opportunities forward • Hit clearly defined KPIs and report progress in weekly sales meetings • Travel to your US territory roughly two weeks per month What we’re looking for • A confident, magnetic presenter who’s at their best in front of people • 3+ years in B2B sales; selling through rep agencies or distributors a strong plus • High activity and hustle, and genuine comfort with regular travel • A strong relationship-builder who can carry a room from the presentation through to the dinner • Lighting or technical product knowledge is welcome but not required — we’ll teach the product to the right person Compensation $80,000 CAD base salary + uncapped commission tied to performance.
