Role Description This is a contract, commission based, remote role for a Sales Specialist at Readiverse. The Sales Specialist will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to conducting product demos and closing deals with educational institutions, organizations, and individual customers. Daily responsibilities include outbound and inbound outreach, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and negotiating terms in alignment with company guidelines. The role also involves providing clear product explanations, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to refine offerings and messaging. The Sales Specialist will document activities in a CRM, meet or exceed sales targets, and support occasional virtual training or onboarding sessions for new customers. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and respond professionally across phone, video, email, and chat. Proven Sales experience, including prospecting, pipeline management, product presentations, and closing revenue-generating opportunities. Comfort working independently in a remote setting, with strong time management, organizational skills, and proficiency in CRM and online collaboration tools. Prior experience in edtech, publishing, or SaaS is beneficial but not required.
