As Q Academy grows its reach across Canada and internationally, we are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead our direct sales efforts, grow institutional partnerships, and help more financial professionals access high-quality education.

Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for driving enrolment growth across Q Academy's portfolio of licensing courses, certificate programs, designation pathways, and continuing education offerings. This role combines direct B2C and B2B selling with team leadership and strategic account development. The ideal candidate understands the financial services education landscape, can engage confidently with professionals at financial institutions, broker-dealers, and wealth management firms, and has a strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative environment.

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve enrolment and revenue targets across Q Academy's full course and designation portfolio. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pipeline development through to close, for both individual learners and corporate accounts. Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with financial services firms, banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and investment dealers. Monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and pipeline health; provide regular forecasting and reporting to the Director.

Corporate & Institutional Account Management Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions seeking firm-wide licensing, compliance training, or designation pathways for their staff. Develop customized training proposals and corporate solutions packages in collaboration with the academic and product teams. Negotiate enterprise agreements and renewal contracts with institutional clients. Serve as the primary relationship manager for key corporate accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.

Individual Learner & Channel Sales Drive direct-to-learner enrolment through outbound outreach, digital leads, webinars, career events, and partnerships with post-secondary institutions. Engage with prospective students to understand their career goals and recommend appropriate programs, pathways, and credentials. Collaborate with marketing on campaigns targeting specific learner segments, such as newcomers to Canada, post-secondary graduates, and career changers. Support approved educator and referral partner channels to expand enrolment through third-party networks.

Team Management & Collaboration Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, student services, and program delivery teams to align sales messaging with the learner experience. Represent Q Academy at industry events, conferences, and regulatory forums to build brand presence and generate leads.

Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a B2B or corporate sales role. Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and closing enterprise-level agreements. Strong understanding of the Canadian financial services industry, including familiarity with CIRO, FSRA, securities licensing, CE requirements, and professional designation frameworks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders at financial institutions. Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline reporting tools.
