About the role
Reporting directly to the Inside Sales and Customer Service Manager. Functionally responsible along with all members of the Customer Service and Sales Team concerning day to day sales matters, and the Production Team concerning order fulfilment and customer satisfaction. All employees contribute to the success of each customer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative are detailed below, but not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with all customers
- Order entry and verification
- Work with Operations for Stocking Programs
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to Sales and customer requests for expediting orders with Purchasing and Internal Suppliers
- Reply to customer inquiries for order status and pricing updates in a timely manner
- Maintain and grow customer base by providing outstanding customer service and opportunities to up-sell
- Assist/provide back-up for co-workers when required
- Comply with all quality related policies, procedures, and system requirements.
- All other duties as required by the sales department and the organization
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- Post-secondary education combined with mathematical, business, quality and/or technical training is an asset
- 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced deadline driven sales/customer service environment.
- High School graduation and 2 years of experience in a similar environment may be substituted
Technical Skills/Competence
- Excellent time management and organizational skills are necessary
- A strong team player who works well with others
- Must have excellent telephone presence and manners
- Empathy and confidence will allow the candidate to succeed in this position
- Experience in manufacturing is an asset
- An understanding of computers, measurements, tolerances, basic geometry, and the ability to read drawings/blueprints is an asset
- High energy level, positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision
- Fluency in French, written and verbal, is an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $49,700 to $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
