Territory Sales Representative
About the role
Territory Sales Representative The Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley
Build relationships. Grow your territory. Help schools create something unforgettable.
FutureBook Yearbooks is looking for an ambitious Territory Sales Representative to grow our presence throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. This is a sales-focused role for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and developing new partnerships. You’ll inherit an established territory while growing new business, then support teachers and students through the yearbook creation process. If you’re looking for a career that combines professional sales with the satisfaction of making a lasting impact in schools, we’d love to hear from you.
Most sales jobs ask you to sell something forgettable. This one lets you help schools create the single most treasured keepsake a student will ever own- the book they’ll still have on their shelf in 40 years.
At FutureBook, you won’t be a cog in a giant American corporation. You’ll be the face of a Canadian company based in Victoria BC that makes, by a wide margin, the highest quality yearbook in the industry, at the lowest price. That’s a combination that makes selling a genuine pleasure, because you’re never talking a customer into something. You’re showing them something better.
Base draw up to $75,000/year Uncapped commission Realistic first-year earnings of $100,000+
What you'll do
This is first and foremost a sales position. Success in this role starts with finding new opportunities, building relationships, and winning new business. Once you've earned that trust, you’ll support teachers and students through the creation of an exceptional yearbook experience.
Grow your territory You'll be responsible for developing your own sales pipeline while managing an established territory of existing customers. Your responsibilities include: Prospecting for new school opportunities Generating qualified leads through networking, referrals, and outreach Cold calling and following up consistently Conducting presentations and product demonstrations Building relationships with principals, teachers, and school administrators Managing your sales pipeline from first conversation through signed agreement Meeting and exceeding sales goals Maintaining a home office
Support your customers Once you've earned the business, you'll become the trusted partner your schools rely on year after year. You'll: Visit schools throughout the school year Train teachers and student yearbook teams Lead workshops and classroom sessions Guide schools through the yearbook creation process Help customers stay organized and meet production deadlines Create long-term relationships that result in exceptional customer retention No previous yearbook, publishing, or graphic design experience is required. We'll teach you everything you need to know about our industry.
This role is for you if... You enjoy prospecting and creating opportunities - not waiting for them. You like the freedom to run your own territory. You believe relationships are earned through trust and consistency. You want to build a career selling something you can genuinely be proud of.
If you’re looking for a typical sales job, this probably isn’t it.
Who you are You're someone who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities.
You: Are driven, confident, and self-motivated. Enjoy prospecting and developing new business. Take ownership of your results and manage your territory independently. Build trust quickly with educators, administrators, and students. Communicate comfortably with everyone from principals to student leadership teams. Have at least two years of consultative sales experience in B2B, education, or a related field - or you're an exceptional, coachable salesperson ready to prove yourself. Are comfortable travelling throughout your territory, including occasional overnight trips, using your own reliable vehicle. See challenges as opportunities and follow through consistently.
Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, publishing, or education is an asset, but not a requirement. What we can't teach is curiosity, resilience, persistence, and the desire to earn new business.
If this sounds like the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.
