Position Overview: CFT Recycling is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing Sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will drive business growth by qualifying inbound and outbound leads, engaging prospective clients, and scheduling appointments for our Outside Sales Representatives.
Compensation: $40,000 base salary plus performance-based commission, with OTE of $40,000–$60,000 annually. Earn $5 per qualified appointment booked, plus an additional $15 per prospect converted into a customer generating revenue.
Key Responsibilities: Generate and qualify inbound and outbound sales leads through phone outreach and Salesforce CRM. Schedule qualified appointments for Outside Sales Representatives and coordinate calendars. Build relationships with prospective customers by understanding their business needs and presenting CFT Recycling's services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, activities, and pipeline information in Salesforce CRM. Follow up on leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, referrals, and trade shows. Communicate professionally with decision-makers, handle objections, and provide exceptional customer service. Track and report key sales metrics, including calls made, appointments booked, and lead conversion activities. Collaborate with the Sales team to support pipeline growth and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is considered an asset. 1–3+ years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, telemarketing, or a customer-facing sales role. Experience using Salesforce CRM or a similar customer relationship management platform. Previous sales experience is required Experience in recycling, waste management, logistics, transportation, industrial services, or related industries is considered an asset. Strong verbal communication skills with a confident and professional phone presence. Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills. Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.
