As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Business Development Representative – North America to support our business development activity across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded individual who is looking to grow their career in business development within the global mining industry. In this role, you will support Globe 24-7’s market presence across North America by identifying prospective clients, building relationships, supporting sales activity and helping create a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.

You will work closely with senior commercial leaders, client relationship leads and delivery teams to understand client needs, support prospecting activity and promote Globe 24-7’s recruitment, talent and workforce solutions. This role is well suited to someone who is confident, proactive, organised and eager to learn the mining industry from experienced professionals.

What you’ll do Support business development activity across Canada, the United States and Mexico. Identify and research prospective clients, contacts, projects and market opportunities within the mining industry. Assist with prospect generation through research, outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, industry events and networking activity. Build early-stage relationships with prospective clients and support the development of new business opportunities. Use consultative sales techniques to understand client needs and identify appropriate Globe 24-7 services to promote. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activity, prospect engagement, pipeline status and client information in the company CRM. Support senior commercial team members with meeting preparation, client follow-up, market research and sales reporting. Attend industry events, conferences, client meetings and networking opportunities as required. Work collaboratively with Globe 24-7’s leadership and delivery teams to support a consistent and high-quality client experience. Represent Globe 24-7 professionally when engaging with prospective clients, existing clients, industry organisations and external stakeholders. Support Globe 24-7’s safety culture when attending client or mine sites, including following site safety requirements and using PPE where required.

What you bring Some experience in sales, business development, recruitment, account management, customer service or a client-facing role. Exposure to the mining, resources, technical, industrial or recruitment sectors would be highly regarded, but is not essential. A genuine interest in developing a career in business development within the mining industry. Strong communication skills, with confidence speaking to clients, prospects and internal stakeholders. A proactive and resilient approach, with the confidence to make outbound calls, initiate conversations and follow up consistently. Strong research skills, with the ability to identify prospective clients, contacts and market opportunities. Ability to read the audience and adjust tempo and messaging accordingly, regardless of the size of the prospect company or opportunity. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow through on commitments. A willingness to learn consultative sales techniques and develop a strong understanding of Globe 24-7’s services. Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and digital tools, or the ability to quickly learn new platforms. A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with a global team. Flexibility to work across time zones and attend industry events or client meetings as required. Ability to travel across Canada, the United States and Mexico, with regional travel expected to average approximately 30–40%.

Work Environment, Travel & Physical Requirements

This role requires regular business travel across Canada, the United States and Mexico, including travel by air and land. Regional travel is expected to average approximately 30–40% and may include attendance at client meetings, industry events and mine site visits.

When attending client or mine sites, the successful candidate will be required to comply with all relevant site safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment where required.

The physical requirements of this role may include regular sitting and standing, occasional walking on uneven ground or in enclosed spaces, occasional kneeling, and occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25 pounds.
