Responsibilities

· Lead and develop the inside and outside sales teams by coaching performance, setting targets, supporting deal strategy, and building a high-performing, growth-oriented team with a strong focus on proactive business development. · Manage sales pipeline and funnel performance by driving opportunity progression, ensuring accurate forecasting, prioritizing high-value opportunities, and actively participating in closing complex or strategic deals. · Oversee and approve commercial proposals and quotations to ensure alignment with company pricing strategy, technical feasibility, margin expectations, and customer requirements. · Manage and expand dealer and distribution networks by building strong partnerships, setting performance expectations, supporting partner success, and ensuring alignment with company standards and market strategy. · Resolve complex customer and project challenges by coordinating cross-functional resources, including Engineering, Customer Care, SafeOperations, and Finance, to deliver effective solutions and maintain a customer-centric approach. · Lead, develop, and engage a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, fostering an inclusive culture, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements. · Demonstrate safety leadership under Vidir’s Risk Management System and represent the Core Values of Vidir Solutions Inc. in all workplace interactions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field. · Minimum of 3–5+ years in a sales leadership role managing inside and/or outside sales teams. · Preferred 7–10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or applications engineering within an engineer-to-order, industrial, or capital equipment environment. · PMP, CAPM, CET, or a similar technical/project-related designation would be considered an asset but is not required.

Knowledge and Skills · Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles. · Strong experience in sales funnel management, forecasting, and CRM-driven pipeline oversight. · Experience managing dealer networks, channel partners, or distributors is a strong asset. · Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in complex technical environments and work cross-functionally with Engineering, SafeOperations, Customer Care, and Finance teams. · Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and related business systems.

The ideal candidate is a confident sales leader who can balance customer relationships, commercial strategy, technical solution development, and team performance while supporting Vidir’s mission to make the world’s products safely accessible.
