The Role This is not a conventional sales job. We are looking for someone who thinks and acts like a business owner — someone who will take full commercial ownership of one of agriculture's most productive regions and build something lasting. You will manage and grow our B2B partner network (distributors, dealers, ag retailers) across the three Prairie provinces, drive hardware and software subscription revenue, and report directly to the CEO at our headquarters in Austria. The right person will be positioned to grow into the Country Manager role as Metos Canada expands. What You Will Do • Own the Prairie territory — develop and execute a commercial plan to grow revenue across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. • Manage existing key B2B partner relationships and actively recruit new distribution and dealer partners. • Sell the full Metos portfolio: METOS® IoT weather stations, TSM TopSoil Mapper Fieldclimate platform, and AI-driven advisory tools. • Conduct regular field visits, joint customer calls, and attend industry events across the territory. • Identify market opportunities, track competition, and feed insights directly to the CEO and product teams. • Represent Metos Canada at trade shows and conferences; travel to HQ in Austria at least once per year.

What You Bring • 3–5+ years in B2B sales, key account management, or agri-business — AgTech or precision agriculture experience is a strong plus. • Deep familiarity with Prairie agriculture: possibly farming background, crops, growers, input dealers, and the ag retail ecosystem. • A self-starter mindset — you manage your territory independently and thrive without a rigid structure. • Strong communication and relationship skills; comfortable engaging from farm gate to executive boardroom. • Passion for technology and how it changes agriculture. • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively across the three provinces.
