Sales Account Manager
About the role
About Us Budget Promotion Corp. is a Calgary-based custom apparel and promotional products print shop with over 30 years of history in the community. We specialize in DTF printing, screen printing, and embroidery, serving corporate and non-profit clients locally and across Canada. As we grow, we're looking for a Sales Manager to lead our sales team and help shape our next chapter.
About the Role We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our two-person sales team and help grow our business — someone who brings both strong sales instincts and real leadership. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build and mentor a team, not just hit their own numbers.
What You'll Do Supervise, coach, and support a two-person sales team, helping them grow and improve Manage a high volume of inbound phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers, ensuring every lead is handled professionally and promptly Develop and execute strategies to drive new sales and grow existing accounts Lead business-to-business outreach and prospecting to bring in new corporate and non-profit clients Work closely with our marketing team on seasonal promotions and campaigns Represent Budget Promotion at networking events and occasional trade/sales booths Collaborate directly with our production team, using your knowledge of print methods (screen printing, embroidery, DTF) and basic graphic design to quote accurately and set realistic expectations with clients Bring fresh ideas to the table — help us find new ways to grow
What You Bring Proven sales management or senior sales experience, ideally in apparel, print, promotional products, or a related B2B industry A working knowledge of print production processes and basic graphic design concepts Strong organizational skills — comfortable juggling multiple leads, quotes, and follow-ups at once Excellent phone and email communication skills A natural "people person" who builds trust quickly with clients and teammates alike Experience with B2B outreach and relationship-building Comfortable attending networking events and occasionally working a sales booth A coaching mindset — someone who can lead a small team and also mentor ownership on sales strategy
Why Join Us Join a well-established, respected local business with 30+ years in Calgary Real influence over sales strategy and team growth — this isn't a role where you just follow a script Work with a close-knit team and a business deeply connected to the local corporate and non-profit community To apply, please send your resume or apply directly here on LinkedIn.
