About the Role We’re hiring an outbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive net-new pipeline. This is a frontline, prospecting-focused role. You’ll be powering the engine that fills the top of our funnel. Day to day, you'll research target accounts, run outbound campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn, qualify the prospects who engage, and book discovery meetings for our Account Executives. Your job is to start conversations with people who've never heard of us and turn the right ones into qualified opportunities. This is an entry-level role. We're looking for hunger and coach-ability over experience. Key Responsibilities Prospect and research: Identify target accounts and the right contacts within them, and build a clear point of view on why they'd care about PheedLoop. Run outbound outreach: Reach prospects through personalized cold email, calls, and LinkedIn, using multi-touch sequences to start conversations from scratch. Qualify and book meetings : Hold initial conversations to gauge fit and intent, and schedule discovery calls for Account Executives. Hand off cleanly: Capture the context from your conversations so AEs walk into every meeting fully prepared. Own your pipeline: Keep your prospect records, activity, and next steps accurate and current in the CRM. Hit your targets: Consistently meet daily activity and monthly qualified-meeting goals. What You’ll Bring Drive and resilience: You're motivated by goals and not rattled by rejection; outbound is a lot of "no" on the way to "yes." Strong communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive both in writing and on the phone. Coach-ability: Eager to learn, open to feedback, and quick to put it into practice. Organization: You manage your day, your follow-ups, and your CRM without letting things slip. Curiosity: Genuinely interested in prospects' problems and in how the product solves them. 0 to 1 year of experience: Recent grads and early-career candidates welcome; no prior BDR experience required.
Bonus Skills (All-Star Qualities): Experience or internships at a fast-paced tech company, SaaS, or startup. Familiarity with a CRM or sales engagement tool (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, etc.). Knowledge of, or curiosity about, the events industry. You are competitive, like hitting targets and then beating them. You are adaptable and can follow a proven process, refine your approach as you learn what works.
