Our client, a well-established Canadian consumer products manufacturer with nationally recognized retail partnerships, is seeking a strategic Brand Manager to join their Marketing team. This individual will lead the commercialization and execution of key product initiatives while partnering closely with Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Creative teams to drive growth across the Canadian market.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic brand management with hands-on execution. You'll play a critical role in bringing new products to market, supporting retailer growth, developing compelling sales tools, and helping shape the long-term direction of an established consumer brand portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Lead brand strategy and commercialization initiatives across the Canadian market. Manage new product launches from concept through retail execution. Develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, and launch plans. Create retailer presentations, sales decks, merchandising tools, and sell-in materials. Partner closely with Sales to support national retail accounts and identify growth opportunities. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, competitive activity, and retail performance to guide business decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Creative teams to ensure successful product launches. Manage agency relationships and oversee development of marketing collateral, packaging, and promotional assets. Monitor product performance, recommend portfolio optimizations, and identify opportunities for continued brand growth. Support annual marketing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and product lifecycle management.

What They're Looking For 4–8+ years of Brand Management experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), manufacturing, durable goods, home products, or related consumer industries. Proven experience leading new product commercialization and go-to-market strategies. Strong experience supporting national retail accounts through sales enablement and retailer marketing initiatives. Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and Creative teams. Strong presentation skills with experience developing retailer-facing materials and executive presentations. Highly analytical with experience leveraging market research, consumer insights, and business performance data. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience managing external agencies and creative partners is considered an asset.

Non-Negotiables Minimum 4+ years of Brand Management experience. Experience launching and commercializing consumer products. Proven success supporting retailer growth through sales enablement and merchandising initiatives. Strong cross-functional leadership experience across Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Supply Chain. Experience developing go-to-market strategies and product launch plans. Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Highly organized with strong project management capabilities. Positive, collaborative, and proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work fully onsite.
