About the role

Position: Junior Territory Account Specialist (Hybrid) Location: Winnipeg, MB Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Our client, a well-established international food manufacturer, is looking for a Junior Territory Account Specialist to join its growing sales team.

Reporting to the Western Canada Sales Director, you will receive comprehensive coaching and mentorship while managing an established customer portfolio and helping expand the company's presence throughout the Winnipeg region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts
  • Develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Visit customers throughout the week (approximately 70% travel within the territory)
  • Present new products and organize product demonstrations and tastings
  • Prepare product samples before customer visits
  • Build strong relationships with customers in the foodservice industry
  • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
  • Plan your own customer schedule and territory activities
  • Complete administrative tasks and sales planning while working remotely on Fridays
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Western Canada and internal support teams

Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, foodservice or a related industry
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in developing a career in outside sales
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel throughout the territory
  • Must reside in or very near Winnipeg, MB
