Role Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving sales revenue, focusing on nurturing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and regaining lost clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with existing accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking. Implement initiatives to regain lost clients by understanding reasons for attrition and addressing concerns effectively. Respond timely to client requests for quotations and proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently into the ERP system, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment. Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date customer information in the CRM system, including contact details, interactions, and preferences. Provide technical advice and product knowledge to customers, guiding them in making informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials, or industrial engineering, architecture , or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in sales in the metal industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong closing skills with a keen attention to detail. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members. A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
