About Avantune Avantune is the established mid-market platform of choice for hundreds of companies across Europe over the past thirty years and has been serving North American customers since 2011. We develop Genialcloud, an integrated platform of Business Applications and Intelligence (ERP, CRM, Document and Workflow, Analytics, IoT & AI). Family-owned, profitable, no debt. We are now investing in building the same kind of business at scale in North America. Genialcloud 11 launches in July 2026, with a Toronto launch event planned for fall 2026.
The role Real business development. You research target companies, identify IT decision-makers (IT Directors, IT Managers, IT-side influencers), and open substantive conversations through disciplined multi-touch outreach. The senior commercial team carries the conversations through to close. This is not inbound lead processing; the leads do not arrive pre-qualified and the work is research-intensive.
What you will own Building target account lists from our Lists Platforms and other sources within our ICP. Researching companies and identifying the right IT decision-makers; validating contacts before you call. Multi-touch outreach across phone, email, and LinkedIn with discipline and persistence. Generating qualified demos as your primary deliverable; daily reporting on activity and pipeline.
Who you are 2–3 years of B2B commercial experience with the foundational skills already developed (call discipline, CRM hygiene, objection handling, structured discovery). Self-direction and ownership. You research before you call, develop your own platform knowledge, and take responsibility for your professional development. Commitment to learn Genialcloud platform components (Proj, Powua, Facsys, Tem and Time) within your first month. Your conversations depend on this; it is not optional. Persistence and discipline. NA cold-call connect rates are structurally low (2–4% on disciplined calls); the work is in multi-touch persistence, not in single-dial volume. Comfort working at a serious mid-market technology company rather than a venture-backed SaaS scale-up. Lower base, generous variable on real outcomes, more autonomy and ownership.
Compensation and benefits Base CAD 50K–55K plus tiered variable: activity reward on qualified conversations, flat payment per qualified demo, commission on closed deals you sourced. OTE typically CAD 80K–90K for strong performers. Work from home (Toronto GTA preferred with regular in-person presence for team work).
