ONGROK is an emerging herbal-accessory brand already in 1,200+ retail doors across Canada, the US, and Europe ,with wholesale roughly doubling year over year. You'd work in person from our Waterfront office steps from Lake Ontario (15 minutes from Union Station), on a small, lean, hardworking team, with direct access to and coaching from the Founder/CEO. Overview ONGROK is seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to help develop and grow our business. We are looking for an early-career sales professional who is hungry to learn the trade, build a book of business from the ground up, and fast-track a career in sales. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is equally comfortable cold-calling a new prospect, managing day-to-day account relationships over phone/email, and keeping a clean, accurate pipeline. This is a growth and business-development role reporting directly to the Founder/CEO. You will own and expand ONGROK's wholesale, independent, and emerging accounts, prospect and open new accounts in target markets, and grow revenue across your book of business. You'll work alongside the Founder/CEO and support our Sr. Manager, Strategic Accounts on the strategic engine behind that growth — sell-through and menu-data analysis to find opportunities, and distributor support to convert them — and you'll be measured on the business you build: new doors opened, accounts retained and grown, the activity behind it and pipeline created. You'll be supported with structured onboarding, product training, approved outreach templates, and a weekly coaching cadence designed to get you producing .
Key Responsibilities
Prospect & Open New Accounts: Research and cold-outreach to dispensaries, smoke shops, and distributors in target markets. Build and qualify a pipeline of new accounts against our ideal-customer-profile (ICP) criteria. Open new accounts and grow them into recurring buyers. Grow & Retain Your Book of Business: Own and expand relationships with wholesale, independent, and emerging accounts. Process reorders, present and upsell new products, answer product questions, and resolve issues quickly. Maintain strong reorder retention and drive revenue growth across your assigned accounts. Drive sell-through by building awareness around our budtender education program, that build product knowledge and create brand advocates Drive Reorder & Past-Due Outreach: Execute systematic reorder outreach for accounts that have elapsed their ordering cadence, using the forecast tracker to prioritize. Recover lapsed accounts and bring them back into a healthy ordering rhythm. Use Sell-Through & Menu Data to Find Opportunities: Work with retail menu and sell-through data to identify which doors, products, and markets to prioritize. Spot white-space accounts, underperforming SKUs, and reorder gaps, and turn those insights into targeted outreach. Build simple reports and account briefs that translate the data into a clear plan of attack. Support Distributor Relationships & Conversion: Support ONGROK's distributor partners — sharing menu intelligence, assets, and account leads to drive pull-through. Track distributor performance and conversion, and flag where partners are or aren't delivering against expectations. Help route independent accounts through the right distributor while keeping direct chains direct. Manage the Pipeline & CRM: Maintain accurate opportunity records in the CRM; log all calls, emails, and order activity. Keep 100% CRM hygiene across all accounts, contacts, and orders. Support Trade Shows & Events: Handle pre-show outreach to schedule meetings, prepare account briefs, and manage post-show follow-up sequences. Follow up on 100% of booked meetings promptly after each event. Build Product & Market Knowledge: Develop deep knowledge of all ONGROK SKU categories. Stay current on retail trends, dispensary regulations, and competitor products. Team Support: Provide coverage on sample requests, quotes, and order confirmations when needed, ensuring no order windows or follow-ups are missed.
Experience Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, Communications or related) preferred, 1-3 years of sales experience, industry experience a plus, not not required Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, Hubspot, and Quickbooks Online, or relevant system experience a strong plus Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills Self-Starter, competitive mindset and collaborative spirit. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced working environment
