About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to join a growing financial services organization specializing in serving high-net-worth and institutional clients. This is a hands-on sales leadership role focused on business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation.
The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who enjoys building relationships, closing deals, and leading by example while supporting a small sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new client acquisition through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and relationship-building activities. Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and institutional clients. Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities for account growth. Work closely with leadership, marketing, and operations teams to convert opportunities into revenue. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members while remaining actively involved in sales activities. Attend client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required. Maintain a strong understanding of financial markets and industry trends.
Qualifications
4–10 years of sales or business development experience within financial services, banking, lending, investments, wealth management, or related sectors. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong relationship management and client acquisition skills. Ability to engage confidently with financially sophisticated and high-net-worth clients. Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Financial markets knowledge is preferred; relevant certifications are an asset.
