Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located at Heritage Ford Sales Limited in Scarborough, ON. The Salesperson will engage with customers in the showroom, on the lot, and over the phone to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting prospective customers, conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining financing and warranty options, and preparing sales and lease documentation in accordance with dealership policies. The role involves following up with leads, maintaining relationships with existing customers, updating CRM and sales records, and collaborating with colleagues in service, finance, and management to ensure a positive customer experience. The Salesperson is expected to stay current on product features, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate information and support customers in their purchase decisions. Qualifications Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills to engage a diverse range of clients. Sales, negotiation, and closing abilities, with a focus on consultative selling and meeting sales targets ethically. Clear verbal and written communication skills for explaining vehicle features, pricing, and financing options. Basic computer proficiency and comfort using CRM systems, email, and dealership software. Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as required, and to manage multiple customers and tasks efficiently. Interest in and basic knowledge of vehicles; prior automotive or retail sales experience is an asset. High level of integrity, professionalism, and reliability, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive teamwork. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to conduct safe and confident test drives.
