Want to build a career in technical sales?

AIL is hiring a Sales Representative to grow our corrugated steel pipe and HDPE pipe business across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

This is a field-based role for someone with a civil, construction, or engineering technology background who enjoys working with people, solving practical problems, and being out in the market. You’ll build relationships with contractors, municipalities, developers, engineers, and other infrastructure customers while learning the technical side of AIL’s engineered product offering.

This is a great stepping stone into a Technical Sales Representative role.

What You’ll Do

  • Grow sales of corrugated steel pipe, HDPE pipe, and related infrastructure products
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, developers, consultants, and industry partners
  • Find new opportunities across the Maritimes
  • Prepare quotes, follow up, and close business
  • Work with AIL’s sales, engineering, production, and operations teams
  • Track opportunities in Salesforce
  • Spend regular time in the field with customers and on jobsites

What You Bring

  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma, engineering background, or civil construction experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in infrastructure, technical sales, and engineered products
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own territory
  • Strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the Maritimes

Nice to Have

  • Experience in construction, municipal, infrastructure, forestry, agriculture, development, or industrial markets
  • Sales, estimating, project coordination, or customer-facing experience
  • Familiarity with pipe, culverts, roadbuilding, site servicing, stormwater, or utility infrastructure
  • Salesforce or CRM experience
