Role Description The Strategic Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This role is responsible for managing and growing key tenant relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for office lease clients and ensuring a high level of satisfaction and retention. Day-to-day tasks include developing account plans, negotiating lease renewals and expansions, coordinating with property management and leasing teams, and monitoring tenant needs and market trends. The Strategic Account Manager will also prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, identify opportunities for portfolio optimization, and support strategic initiatives that enhance asset performance and tenant stability. Qualifications Experience in account management, client relationship management, or commercial leasing, ideally within office or retail real estate. Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, and lease administration to manage renewals, expansions, and tenant agreements. Ability to analyze financial data, occupancy trends, and market information to support strategic decisions and account planning. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with tenants, internal teams, and external partners. Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and cross-functional initiatives. Comfort working on-site in the Greater Toronto Area and engaging regularly with tenants and property operations. Knowledge of commercial real estate markets, particularly office leasing dynamics in the GTA, is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an asset.
