About the role
Let's be honest, olive oil has a branding and trust problem. Most companies have been doing the same thing for decades—same labels, same messaging, same marketing. We're here to change that.
Tony's Really Good Olive Oil is building a modern food brand focused on trust, transparency, and making olive oil fun again. We source premium extra virgin olive oil from Sardinia, Italy, and we're growing quickly across Ontario and Canada.
We're not trying to become just another olive oil company. We're building a brand people actually want to follow and be apart of.
The Role: Our goal is simple: Get as many organic views as possible. No hiding behind paid ads.
We want someone who lives on social media, spots trends before everyone else, and constantly thinks, "That would make a great video." We're willing to invest in ideas that deserve attention. One project we're planning? Buying an old Canada Post truck, fixing it up, wrapping it in Tony's branding, driving around the city handing out olive oil and merch, and documenting the entire thing.
If you've got crazier (and smarter) ideas, we want to hear them. You'll work directly with the founder and have real ownership over our content strategy. No corporate marketing. No endless approval chains. Just making great content and building a brand people actually care about.
What You'll Be Doing: Creating content for Instagram and TikTok Researching trends and turning them into content Brainstorming original ideas, series, and marketing stunts Creating educational and entertaining content Helping grow and engage our online community Appearing on camera (you'll likely become one of the faces of the brand) Filming behind the scenes, events, product shoots, and whatever crazy idea we come up with next Learning different parts of the business along the way In-store on on-site demos Who We're Looking For You love TikTok and Instagram You're comfortable on camera You're creative, outgoing, and resourceful You know what makes people stop scrolling You can edit videos (CapCut or similar) You're coachable and open to feedback You like trying new ideas—even if they fail You want to help build something, not just work for it Experience is Creativity, curiosity, and initiative matter more.
What You'll Get: $25/hour OR $22/hour + performance bonuses (let us know in your application) 4–6 month internship (with the opportunity to extend) starting Fall 2026 Flexible scheduling around classes Direct mentorship from the founder Real ownership over projects and ideas Hands-on experience building a fast-growing consumer brand
Bonus Points: Don't just send us a resume, pitch us your best guerrilla marketing idea for Tony's. Better yet, make us something. A mock-up, a short video, or a fake campaign. Show us how your brain works.
One Last Thing...
This is a startup.
Some days we'll be filming in grocery stores. Some days we'll be planning marketing stunts. Some days we'll be chasing a content idea because it just might work. Things might get slightly chaotic.
If that sounds like fun, we'd love to hear from you.
Send us: Your resume Your Instagram and/or TikTok (if you're comfortable sharing, no pressure) Examples of content you've created (optional) Your best guerrilla marketing idea for Tony's
We're much more interested in creativity, personality, and initiative than the perfect resume.
