Position Overview

The Lead Sales Coordinator provides guidance and support to a small team of sales coordinators. Act as liaison between external clients and the company sales, design, production, and shipping teams. This position will report to the Inside Sales Manager. As a team, we strive to help drive sales to meet or exceed company goals and budgets by serving customers in a professional manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The Lead Sales Coordinator should have a strong understanding of the products and services we offer and the ability to explain use cases, install methods and best practices.

• Develop and maintain rapport with existing and prospective customers.

• Provide product knowledge to customers and ensure a positive customer service experience.

• Provide quotes and process sales ensuring all processes and deadlines are met.

• Respond to designer and production queries.

• Engage in monthly inventory process

• Managing special orders

• Attend industry-related events, trade shows, etc.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills to determine customer requirements and ability to follow through with commitments every time
• Ability to determine appropriate products or services to meet customer needs
• Industry experience
• Strong ability to guide and mentor inside sales team
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking ability
• Professional level of written skills
• Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy.

Education & Experience

• Diploma or certificate from a technical college or design school (Asset)
• Industry related experience
• Experience using design software.
