Role Description This full-time Business Development Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. The specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage lead generation activities, and conduct market research to target mid-market and enterprise clients, particularly in equipment dealer and multi-location environments. Daily responsibilities include engaging prospective customers through calls, emails, and virtual meetings; collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop outreach campaigns; and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems such as Salesforce. The role involves nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, coordinating discovery meetings and demos, and supporting the development of proposals that align App Solve’s solutions with client needs. The specialist is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of business development processes and help drive sustainable revenue growth. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to evaluate prospects, industries, and competitive landscapes. Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, clarify requirements, and create a positive client experience. Proven Lead Generation experience, including outbound prospecting, qualification, and pipeline management. Familiarity with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce) and comfort working with data and reporting tools. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Toronto, ON, collaborating in person and remotely. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple opportunities, deadlines, and follow-ups. Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or consulting services is an asset; knowledge of Salesforce solutions is a plus. Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
