Role Description The Leasing Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. This position is responsible for managing the rental process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including scheduling and conducting property showings, responding to prospective tenant questions, and presenting available units. The Leasing Agent will collect and review rental applications, coordinate background and reference checks, and support lease preparation and renewal activities. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining accurate records of listings and leases, collaborating with property owners to understand occupancy goals, and providing timely, courteous customer service to both current and prospective tenants. The role involves regular communication in person, by phone, and by email, and requires consistent follow-up to ensure a smooth, efficient leasing experience.

Qualifications Experience with leases and lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and managing lease documents. Knowledge of property management and residential leasing processes, preferably within the Montreal or broader Quebec market. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and resolve tenant and landlord inquiries. Solid organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple listings, appointments, and follow-ups efficiently. Comfort with using leasing or property management software and standard office tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM systems). Ability to work on-site, including conducting property visits and showings, with a professional and respectful demeanor. Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly beneficial in the Montreal market. Prior experience in real estate, leasing, or a related customer-facing field is an asset; relevant training or certification in real estate or property management is a plus.
