Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Halifax, NS, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the Account Executive will manage a portfolio of professional service firm clients, build and maintain strong relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor on how to best leverage The Classeur’s platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying customer needs, delivering product demos, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and closing new business opportunities. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, high adoption, and ongoing satisfaction. This role also involves tracking pipeline activity, forecasting sales results, and providing feedback from the field to inform product improvements and market strategies. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within SaaS, technology, or professional services environments. Strong relationship-building, consultative selling, and client communication skills, with the ability to understand complex operational needs. Ability to manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing. Comfort working in a hybrid setting, balancing in-person client meetings in Halifax, NS with remote collaboration and virtual presentations. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and meet revenue targets. Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools, and the ability to interpret data to inform pipeline management and forecasting. Collaborative mindset, with experience partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams. Knowledge of professional service industries (such as legal, immigration, accounting, financial, insurance, real estate, or consulting) is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Commitment to delivering inclusive, respectful customer experiences and working effectively with diverse teams and clients.
