Since 1968, Gateway Mechanical has been the HVAC & Refrigeration hero Western Canada didn’t know it needed — showing up to 40,000+ service calls a year, keeping buildings warm, cold, cozy, frosty, or perfectly in-between, depending on the mood.

We’re basically the Avengers of HVAC & Refrigeration. But right now, we’re missing a Business Development Representative —our Deal-Closing Superhero, our Contract Whisperer, our Master of “Let’s Talk Numbers.”

🔥 WHAT YOU’LL DO (HERO MODE ACTIVATED):

  • Hunt down new clients with the enthusiasm of a golden retriever spotting a tennis ball.
  • Close contracts so effortlessly people will wonder if you’re using sorcery.
  • Hit sales targets so hard they file HR complaints.
  • Cook up strategic sales plans with the Sales Leaders like you’re Gordon Ramsay in a boardroom.
  • Analyze markets and competitors with the intensity of someone who reads mystery novels and always guesses the killer.
  • Network like a pro — you’ll basically become a mobile, charismatic human magnet.
  • Craft proposals so shiny they require sunglasses.
  • Present to clients with charm levels approaching dangerous.
  • Negotiate like you’re haggling for your life at a medieval village market.
  • Support Gateway's revenue and market domination strategies
  • Keep the CRM pristine — like, Marie-Kondo-level pristine.
  • Represent Gateway at events with the confidence of someone who definitely did not rehearse their introduction in the parking lot.
  • Travel your region spreading HVAC joy and BD brilliance.

✅ WHAT YOU BRING (OTHER THAN YOUR SPARKLING PERSONALITY):

  • 3+ Years Experience in the Mechanical Contracting world — you know the players, the projects, the lingo, the timelines, the chaos in Saskatchewan.
  • Proven success selling service contract programs & mechanical construction.
  • 5+ years of business development brilliance.
  • A history of prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals like it’s a competitive sport.
  • HVAC / mechanical education or certification = bonus points.
  • Unshakeable organization skills (you probably alphabetize your snacks).
  • Communication abilities so good people ask you to “say that again.”
