NOTICE OF VACANCY

 

POSITION:                          Fund Development Coordinator 

    Full time permanent position; 37.5hrs per week     Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening availability around events.

COMPENSATION:              Annual Salary $71,500 - $88,500 based on experience.                                             Flexible hours, Benefits, and enrolment in Pension plan.

POSITION SUMMARY:     As a member of the Rotary Hospice fundraising team, the Fund Development Coordinator assists in the planning and implementation of                                                                 fundraising initiatives, signature and third-party events, and donor stewardship activities to ensure the successful achievement of annual                                                                 fundraising targets.

  Key responsibilities include; Developing, prospecting, and maintaining sponsorship relationships, supporting development and growth of annual          campaigns, Support in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of fundraising events and establishing and maintaining relationships with            donors & community partners.

REPORTS TO:                    Director of Fund Development & Stewardship

DATE REQUIRED:             Position will be posted until filled

QUALIFICATIONS:                                         

  • Education/experience in Fund Development, Event planning or Public Relations, or related discipline and/or 2-3 years of directly related experience.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity/ability to learn fundraising software

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Exhibit a professional, compassionate, and caring approach.
  • Demonstrate strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in meeting fundraising targets and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-direction and self-motivation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including presentations.
  • Creative, self-starting, highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of the local communities served by Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth an asset.

 REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two Step TB test and Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Valid driver’s license & occasional use of vehicle required.
