About the role
Position Overview This hybrid Toronto internship supports marketing efforts, helping reach new audiences through social content, graphics, and video. The intern will work across multiple marketing channels, from social strategy and design to on-set production, assisting with specific campaigns and assets under the guidance of our team. This is a learning-focused, mentored role, not leading projects independently, but there's real room to take initiative. We're not expecting senior-level output, but if you want to build something portfolio-worthy, the space to do that is there.
Key Details • Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid) • Hours: Approx 15 hours per week (flexible) • Compensation: $20/hour
Responsibilities • Assist with social media content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) • Help design graphics and visual assets for social posts, campaigns, and promotional materials • Support video production and editing for marketing content, including social cutdowns and campaign videos • Help explore new marketing channels and formats • Assist on-set during shoots, including basic camera operation and set logistics • Assist with basic video editing tasks under the guidance of our editor
What You'll Learn • How multi-channel marketing works across social, graphics, and video • Social media strategy and content planning • Basic graphic design and video editing • Fundamentals of camera operation and on-set workflow
Requirements • Must be eligible for and registered through Venture for Canada's internship program. • Currently enrolled post-secondary student • Interest in marketing, film, media, or communications • No prior industry experience required
