Job Description: Department Overview TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management provides high-net worth & ultra-high-net worth clients with holistic discovery and planning towards customized wealth advice and solutions. As part of TD Wealth Private Wealth Management, Private banking specializes in offering tailored banking solutions and Credit Management to affluent HNW & UHNW clients. Our Private Bankers support everyday banking transactions, personal credit management. Our Private Bankers support our client's banking needs while connecting them with the right TD specialists to manage their wealth management needs. This role is accountable for onboarding and managing relationships and providing personalized financial services, with a significant focus on credit solutions to HNW and UHNW clients. This role provides HNW/UHNW clients with day-to-day banking and credit needs in a high touch engagement model, bringing in experts from other parts of Wealth and the Bank to support a client's overall financial plans and needs. Accountabilities: Receive and act upon Retail prospect referrals and triage to PWM home of best fit based on initial discovery. Perform in-depth discovery sessions with clients to understand their financial goals objectives and identify franchising opportunities across Wealth and / or other Bank channels. Perform / complete all onboarding, banking activities, transactions and high complexity credit solutions. Conduct frequent proactive client follow-ups to ensure client expectations are being met in alignment with their unique complex financial needs and plans. Promote and offer full suite of products, advice, services, banking and credit capabilities. Analyze credit and underwriting requests by ensuring adjudication in accordance with assigned discretionary limits and established guidelines. Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring and retaining customers and identifying sales opportunities and referrals. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite. Keep current on emerging trends or developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques. Act as a brand champion for your business area/function and the bank, both internally and/or externally. Educational Requirements Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree, preferred. Highly skilled professional with minimum 3+ years of experience in providing banking and credit services. Completion of the Mutual Fund Dealer Association ("MFDA") License within 18 months from start date. Willingness to complete the Financial Planner Designation from the l'Institut québécois de planification financière (IPF) in within 36 months from start date. Requires advanced understanding of a range of product and services, processes, procedures and systems to provide clients with options and advice on moderately complex banking and credit activities. Advanced credit analysis experience and acumen to provide clients with the appropriate level of advice to support their unique / specialized financial needs. General knowledge across Wealth products and solutions with an understanding of all credit, cash management, investments and specifically credit.
