Technical Sales Representative

About the role

Role Description: The technical sales representative is responsible for marketing and promoting products of mainly chemicals and petrochemical products to potential and existing customers. This position requires, with basic knowledge of chemistry and its industry, interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers, and skills to think strategically for market penetration. The technical sales representative works with a team of sales managers and supporting staffs. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with passion to achieve goals.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop markets in the industry by cold calling, emailing, or scheduling meetings with potential customers.
  • Develop ongoing relationships with new and current customers.
  • Perform and share industry analysis, trend analysis, competitor analysis and market research to increase company’s revenue.
  • Present and promote company’s offerings in meetings and events.
  • Provide administrative support, including creation and maintenance of document, and customer databases.
  • Develop new strategies to penetrate markets.
  • Research and develop new business ideas in the industry and related industries.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly initiative and self-motivated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of Chemistry and in its industries (Preferred but not required)
