Known for its thick-from-root-to-tip quality and ethically sourced hair, the brand has built a strong reputation among both consumers and salon professionals.
The Professional Channel Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial growth across the salon‑professional market, expanding brand presence within salons, academies, educators, and distributor networks. This role requires strong industry knowledge, commercial acumen, and the ability to build long‑term relationships with professional partners. The ideal candidate understands the dynamics of the hair extension category, including education‑led selling, stylist engagement, and the importance of brand credibility within the professional community.
Key Responsibilities: Professional Channel Growth. Develop and execute a national strategy to grow the professional channel across salons, educators, academies, and distributors. Identify, onboard, and manage high‑value salon accounts and regional distributors. Build strong relationships with stylists, salon owners, educators, and industry influencers. Drive adoption of professional hair extension products through education, demonstrations, and in‑salon support.
Account Management & Revenue Delivery. Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring consistent revenue growth and retention. Develop tailored commercial proposals, pricing structures, and partnership agreements. Monitor account performance, forecast revenue, and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and support.
Education & Brand Advocacy. Partner with Education teams to deliver training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations. Support the rollout of new product launches, professional kits, and education programs. Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and professional gatherings. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent messaging and premium positioning.
Market intelligence & Strategy. Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform commercial strategy. Provide feedback to Product Development and Marketing on professional needs and opportunities. Identify gaps in the professional market and propose new initiatives to increase penetration.
Operational Excellency. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipelines, and activity logs. Ensure compliance with pricing, brand standards, and commercial policies. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution.
Required experience & Skills:
Experience 3–5+ years in professional channel sales within hair extensions, professional haircare, beauty, or related salon‑professional categories. Proven success managing salon accounts and/or distributor networks. Experience delivering education‑led sales or working closely with educators and stylists. Strong understanding of the professional hair extension market, including installation methods, product types, and salon operations. Skills Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills. Strong negotiation and commercial acumen. Ability to influence and educate salon professionals with confidence. Highly organised with strong pipeline management and forecasting ability.
